70.Varsham

Varsham (Telugu: వర్షం, English translation: Rain) is a Tollywood film produced by M.S. Raju and directed by Sobhan.The film's super hit music was composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The film was remade in Tamil in the name Mazhai starring Jayam Ravi and Shriya Saran.Venkat (Prabhas)and Sailaja (Trisha Krishnan) are youngsters who first meet in a train. Sailaja, also, is impressed by Venkat.By this time, the antagonist Bhadranna (Gopichand) is also mesmerized by Sailaja.Ranga Rao (Prakash Raj), Sailaja's dad, is a typical black sheep having all kinds of bad habits.Ranga Rao plants certain ego problems in the minds of Venkat and Sailaja and then paves a way for their love to break up. And Sailaja prepare to become an actress (her father convinces her).The rest of the story is all about how Venkat brings back Sailaja from the bastion of Bhadranna and how he clears off the misunderstanding with Sailaja in the process.

71.Chatrapati (film)

Chatrapati (Telugu: ఛత్రపతి) is a 2005 Telugu ( Dubbed in malayalam as the same title ) film written & directed by S.S. Rajamouli.After miserable flops like Adavi Ramudu and Chakram, Prabhas has made his comeback with this film.Sivaji (Prabhas), his brother Ashok (Shafi) and mother (Bhanupriya) are Telugus settled in Srilanka.During the eviction process Sivaji is separated from his brother and mother. There is a leader called Baji Rao (Narendra Jha) who exploits these refugees by making them bonded-labor for life. There by he makes sure that there is no exploitation of refugees.The rest of the story is all about how he wins them back.The film has seven songs composed by M. M. Keeravani:The film had a 100-day run in 54 centres.

72.Yogi (film)

Yogi (Telugu: యోగి) ( Dubbed into Malayalam as Yogi) is a Telugu film directed by V.V. Vinayak,which has Prabhas and Nayantara paired up for the first time.Songs were shot in Canada, Egypt, & Malaysia.The film released on January 14, 2007 in 225 theatres.

Tagline: A Feel That Never Ends

Eeshwar Chandra Prasad (Prabhas) is the son of Ram Murthy (Chalapati Rao) and Shantamma (Sharada Urvashi).

However, Shantamma pampers Eeshwar very much and hence he doesn't want to leave the village.Eeshwar could not meet Basha. Saidulu (Subbaraju) is Narsing's brother.Eeshwar gets a job in a tea stall run by Chandranna (Chandramohan). At this juncture, Narsing humiliates Eeshwar for saving Kotaiah and stamps the gold bangles of his mother. As a result, he turns the biggest goon of the city.In order to save him from the police, Chandranna takes him out saying that his name is Yogi. Chandranna encourages Eeshwar who turned Yogi to stay back in the city to save the poor, who gets harassed by the goons.So, Kotaiah and Saidulu join hands and hatch a plan to kill Yogi.Nandini is also after Yogi for an interview to complete her practicals. Though Yogi and Shantamma live in the same city, they could not meet each other.Though Basha and Santamma go to the address, they could not find him as Eeshar because he is known as Yogi for the people. But Eeshwar did not turn up on Monday fearing attack by Saidulu's people.At this time Yogi comes but fails to have a look at the covered face and helps the orphan body lifters with money for cremation and he even bring flowers and puts on the body of his mother.Basha finally arrives and explains the trauma but it is too late.The film ends with the tragedy as Yogi fails to see his mother again after he comes from his village.The music of the film was launched on December 15, 2006.Despote getting negative to mixed reviews, Yogi managed to gross 13.12 crores in its opening week, giving Prabhas the biggest opening in his career.Prabhas grew his hair out for this film. His two earlier films were Lakshmi & Annavaram.So, they wore body hugging slips under their specially designed costume.Some scenes were shot in deserts under the scorching sun.However in Chatrapati, the protagonist searched for his mother.Incidentally, both films star Prabhas in the lead role.
