'Samarasimha Reddy (Telugu: ') is a 1999 Tollywood Faction film, directed by B.Gopal, released on January 13, 1999.Sangeetha and her two sisters live with their cruel aunt, who runs a petty hotel. He solves all their problems and romances with Simran.When his sons fail, he sends his daughter Anjali to destroy Samarasimha Reddy.To prove his love for Vasu’s sisters, Anjali challenges him to drink poison and Samarasimha lands in a hospital. Veera Raghava Reddy kills Samarasimha Reddy’s parents, sister, brother-in-law and his fiancee.In the fight Samarasimha Reddy accidentally kills Vasu, his Man Friday, and hence he assumes Vasu’s role to discharge his duties as a brother.Samarasimha accepts the collective decision to marry Anjali to end the feud between the families. Seeing everyone, including his sons, supporting Samarasimha Reddy, Veera Raghava Reddy commits suicide.

Suhasini acted oppisite Yuvarathna in this movie.The movie was directed by Kodi Ramakrishna.It was produced by S.Gopal Reddy on the banner of Bharghav Art Productions.It was released on 7th September 1984.It was a milestone in Balayya Babu's career.It ran for about 1 year.It became a super hit and made Balayya one among the top heroes.The song "danchave menatha koothura" is famous even today.It was the first movie for Balayya babu which gave him complete commercial success as a solo hero.Bhanumathi garu as grandmother for Balayya babu.

Mohini acted opposite Yuvarathna in this movie.The film was directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, who is very famous for fiction films.It was produced by S.Anitha Krishna on the banner of Sri Devi Movies.It was released on July 18th 1991.Generally this kind of films dont run at box office.But this film was huge success at the box office though it was a class film from a mass hero.The SriKrishnaDevaraya get up played by Balayya was very much liked by the people and it made them remember the great man NTR garu.The time machine concept was for the first time used in Indian Cinema.And after 17 years of release of this movie again this time machine concept is being used in a bollywood film Love Story 2050.
