This film stars Chiranjeevi, Raadhika, and Sarath Babu.Vijay (Chiranjeevi) and Kishore (Sarath Babu) are childhood friends and both work in police department.Kishore's sister (Raadhika) is in love with vijay.Jackal escapes from jail and kills Kishore.The movie had grossed Rs.2.5 millions in its opening week.

12.Khaidi

Khaidi (Telugu: ఖైదీ) is a Telugu movie released on 28 October 1983, which was the first major sensational hit movie by Chiranjeevi directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy. It became a major blockbuster and a turning point in Chiranjeevi's career winning huge fan following overnite and catapulted Chiranjeevi into the big league which at that time was occupied by Krishna Ghattamaneni as N. T. Rama Rao had just left movies and started his political party.Veerabhadraiah (Raogopal Rao) is a feudal lord presiding over a village along with his hench men which includes his assistant (Rallapalli) and the village sarpanch (Nutan Prasad).His son, Sooryam (Chiranjeevi) is a hard working student living in the nearby city and falls in love with Veerabhadraiah's daughter- Madhulatha (Madhavi).Veerabhadraiah kills Venkateswarlu and asks Sooryam to pay the money which he had given as a loan.Just as the crops are ready for harvest Veerabhadraiah and his hench men not only destroy the crop but also try to sexually abuse Sooryam's sister during which she commits suicide.Sooryam is arrested by the Police.It had grossed Rs3.4 million its opening week.Since Chiranjeevi's previous movie Simhapoori Simham was a flop, very few distributors came forward to release this movie, but, those who did distribute, earned record profits which at that time were Tollywood's best.

13.Swayam Krushi

Swayamkrushi is a telugu movie released on 3 September 1987 .It also had Vijayashanti, Sumalatha and others. The movie was critically well acclaimed and a moderate success at box-office and always mentioned as a movie which showcased Chiranjeevi's acting ability.And it is being announced that MEGASTAR chiranjeevi is going to start up with a political party which is being named as "SWAYAM KRUSHI".Sambaiah(Chiranjeevi) is a cobbler who raises his dead sister's son Chinna (Arjun/Sirish) while also financing the education of the orphaned Sharada (Sumalatha) with an intention to marry her.Ganga and Sambaiah after initial struggles become wealthy with dedication and hardwork.Eventually Chinna rebels against his father and both he and Sambaiah return to latter's modest original profession of cobbler.
Chiranjeevi won Nandi Award for Best Actor for that year.

14.Pasivadi Pranam

Pasivadi Pranam is a Tollywood film which released on July 23, 1987.This film was produced by Chiranjeevi's brother-in-law Allu Aravind.Madhu (Chiranjeevi) is a painter who becomes a drunkard since his wife gets killed immediately after their marriage in an accident. He names him Raja and takes care of him however, he doesn't stop drinking.Geeta (Vijayashanti) meets the kid in a shopping place and mistakes him to be Madhu's son and fights with them when the kid accidentally breaks her just bought gift and later realises her mistake and comes to apologise to Madhu's house.Later she comes to know that the kid is none other than her sister's (Rajyalakshmi) son and she was murdered. But they realise that he is not the actual killer and is released. This changes him and he gives up drinking. This is a remake of "Poovinnu Puthiya Poonthennal", a malayalam Movie starring Mammootty.This movie was Chiranjeevi's first silver-jubilee hit.

15.Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari

Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari (Telugu: జగదేక వీరుడు అతిలోక సుందరి) is a Tollywood film released on May 9, 1990 and was directed by K. Raghavendra Rao.Aswani Dutt produced a film with Chiranjeevi for the first time with this film.The sucuess of the film prompted the producers to dub and release in Hindi as Aadmi Aur Apsara, captivating on actress Sridevi's popularity.The story revolves around Raju (Chiru), a guide and caretaker of 4 young orphans. The ring belongs to a celestial being, Indraja (Sridevi), the daughter of Lord Indra.She, at the end, throws away her ring and goes to her love instead of returning to her heavenly abode.The film had a 200-day run in 1 centre.The highlight of the movie was Chiranjeevi and Sridevi combination and the backdrop of mythology mixed fantasy, which attracted kids.

Kondaveeti Donga(Telugu: కొండవీటి దొంగ) is a film starring Chiranjeevi which was a massive hit when it was released in 1990.The film had collected a distributors' share of 7.4 million in its opening week.

Gang Leader is a very popular telugu film of megastar Chiranjeevi.Was a sensational hit at the box office.He celebrated this occasion in four different places at Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Tirupati on the same day. (He flew by a helicopter).

Gharana Mogudu (Telugu: ఘరాణ మొగుడు) is a very popular telugu film which has Chiranjeevi, Nagma in the lead roles.The movie was the first telugu film to gross over 100 million rupees. This film was a remake from Kannada film Anuraaga Aralitu, acted by Legend Dr.Rajkumar.Raju (Chiranjeevi) is a do-gooder who helps his fellow co-workers while working in Visakhapatnam shipyard, but when his mother suffers a paralytic stroke, he moves back to Hyderabad and looks for a job.In this scenario, she not only rejects Ranganayakulu's(Kaikala Satyanarayana) son's marriage proposal but insults them when the father-son duo show up at her house. Raju wins over the employees within no time and takes on the high handedness of Uma Devi and her management.And to this end she plays an emotional blackmail game with Raju's mother and eventually makes Raju agrees to marry her. Alluda Majaka (Telugu: అల్లుడా మజాకా) is a popular telugu movie produced by Devi Vara Prasad on Devi Films banner with Chiranjeevi in the lead role.Even though it gave him a much needed hit, the movie had a lot of double entendres.The film opened with 120 prints and collected a gross of nearly Rs.35.6 million in its opening week.It completed 50 days in 75 centres.

Tagore is a Telugu language ("Tollywood") film which was a remake of the Kollywood blockbuster Ramana. Chiranjeevi played the role of the protagonist and Shriya, Jyothika, and Prakash Raj played some other roles as well.
